Out of Houston Texas, this DJ and Producer has been at it for about 10-ish years. He told me that his music journey started from Video Games, MOGRA, and the Japanese Netlabel scene of the late 2000s/early '10s. Learning about Japanese music through games and finding the weird, obscure, nerdy labels and clubs that would play music from said labels was groundbreaking. If people could make and spin, and dance to nerd music, he wanted to make that nerd music. 

Since those days, he's played at Wonderville in New York, San Japan, Tsumicon, and the Institute of Tranceology

If you catch one of his sets, you can expect to hear Jersey Club, House music, Hyperflip, or whatever the other DJs on the lineup aren't playing. He said he loves sticking out like a sore thumb and playing shit that DJs can't really transition out of in his lineups. He's made a personal rule to play something very him at the end of every set. 

Today, he brought us a set of him just wanting to cut loose. This year for him has been heavy on mixing anime shit for anime cons, and he just wants to have fun. You can expect to hear tracks like KINGSLAYER by Bring Me The Horizon and Babymetal, The Drum by Fellsius, and BLUE2TH! by Moore Kismet. 

Outside of DJing he plays Rhythm games, he's a cinephile, a little bit of a fashionista, enjoys scriptwriting, and does some game development. He likes making cool chunes for video games, and dressing sick, and convincing people to watch weird movies they've never seen before. I asked him if he had any recommendations, and he suggested Belladonna of Sadness, which he described as a beautiful movie - the subject matter is very dark thoug,h so watch at your own discretion

He also said that he listens to electronic music the least. He feels that as a creative its important that you live outside of your own world and listen to and learn new shit. Helps with cool new ideas. The short answer, tho: he's been listening to Cowpunk (aka country punk), which, according to Wikipedia, is a subgenre of punk rock that began in the UK and SoCal in the late 70's and Early 80s

Reggaeton and Hip Hop are also staples with him forever and always. But he's also lowkey going through his alt phase as well.
