I wrote "Gold Rush" at a time when I was going through some intense personal struggle. Many people said I had hit my rock bottom. However, the most beautiful things can be born out of trials and tribulations.

This song is for anyone who feels like they have hit the bottom. Never give up! Keep digging till you strike your own "Gold Rush"

A song I wrote with the help of Matthew Marks during my time at the Contemporary Music Center. It was based on a writing assignment given to me by Rick Elias in which we would choose a picture and write a song based on the emotions it stirred in us. I chose the iconic 9/11 photo taken by Richard Drew that's been come to be known as "The Falling Man".
