A new piece for Percussion and Electronic, also possible as tape - piece. The piece was done in the electronic Studio of the Musikhochschule Stuttgart. I was basically useing Csound and ProTools for the realisation. An additional percussion Part was added for the Festival "Randfestspiel" in Zepernick by Berlin for a performance in September 2014. The piece is basically about the principals of Chomsky for the organisation of spectral Material in the Electronics (Jean Claude Risset Scales, Harmonic Spectrums, Inharmonic Spectrums and the Varése Scales). The percussion Part is useing a Set Up, that is inspired by Raphael Cendo's piece "Badlands". The percussion behaves to the Electronics like a Moon, moving around the earth on a special orbit. It's not about synchronisation, it is more about unsynchronized concurrency.

Les élèves de l’Académie de composition de Musica, placée sous l’autorité de Philippe Manoury et d’Alberto Posadas, dévoilent les œuvres qu’ils ont travaillées durant leur séjour à Strasbourg.

Ils sont chilien, portugais, allemand, italien, français, grec…

Ils sont nés dans les années 80-90…

Ils ont étudié à l’Ircam, au Conservatoire de Paris, à la session Voix Nouvelles de Royaumont, à l’Université de Bucarest ou d’Aveiro, à l’Académie Santa Cecilia de Rome, à l’Académie Supérieure de Musique de Strasbourg, à la Hochschule für Musik de Bâle…

Ils ont été formés par de grands compositeurs pédagogues tels que Brian Ferneyhough, Harrison Birtwistle, Emmanuel Nunes, Ivan Fedele, Michael Jarrell, Helmut Lachenmann, Wolfgang Rihm, et bien d’autres encore.

Ils ont été sélectionnés parmi de nombreuses candidatures pour se confronter, dans la dynamique d’un festival, aux réalités de l’écriture et de l’interprétation et expérimenter la création dans toutes les dimensions qui la constituent, de la définition d’un projet musical à sa création en concert.

Deux formations instrumentales sont à la disposition des compositeurs. La première, le quatuor à cordes, est servie par d’éminents représentants que sont les Diotima. La deuxième, toujours un quatuor, composée cette fois-ci de deux pianistes, Philippe Hattat et Jean-Frédéric Neuburger, et de deux percussionnistes, Daniel Ciampolini et Minh-Tâm Nguyen.

À ces deux instrumentations s’adjoindra pour certaines œuvres la voix de la soprano Sarah Maria Sun.

Ils sont peut-être les grands compositeurs de demain, autant les découvrir aujourd’hui !
