The concept of this EP revolves around the subconscious mind and feelings that are rarely talked about. With this project I found I was able to tap into a more empathetic side of my composing, being able to directly put how I perceive these specific emotions and thoughts into sound. When I listen back to the tracks, it makes me feel those feelings without having to think about them. For others listening, I want them to find their own personal connection to the songs, whether they fully understand and relate to my view - being put into an emotional trance, find different connections and associations that better reflects their lives or simply to tap out and allow the sound to fill the background.

Cassidy is an emerging indie singer/songwriter and composer from Sydney, Australia. Currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music she is completing a Bachelor of Music majoring in Composition for Creative Industries. Entering the composition and song writing field only recently, she discovered the ability to create new and unheard sounds to be rather captivating, being able to tap into a more vulnerable side of her creativity that is often limited in performing. Harnessing this love for creating and sharing, she writes her lyrics straight from the heart creating a deeply personal insight into her life. Her latest project continues this concept and portrays it through a new sound of pure mellowness featuring subconscious mood based instrumental tracks in her upcoming album 'Brain Fog.'
