Marie Malarie is joining us for Tapes #73. . Best known for their carefully crafted sets and as a resident of one of London’s finest queer nights HOMODROP & Happy Endings at the much-loved Dalston Superstore.

Marie curates their very own own queer club nights whose focus is to bring DJs, new talents, performers and artists together to celebrate the beauty of music. As well as their residencies, they regularly seen spinning vinyl in the darkest, coolest corners of East London.

With one of our favourite releases of last year, the ‘Collider’ EP and also taking part in the ‘Goddezz Temple VA Compilation’, promising breaking through AUS producer @harleyferriss presents us with a live recording of his set at ‘Eclectic Sydney’ supporting Psybuzz favourites, Naarm based ‘@milluu’ and ‘@pjenne’. It’s a bumpy, proggy and techy affair that keeping us moving and longing for the weekend whilst transporting our imagination right into that dance-floor.

For the 10th edition of the series, we welcome the always impressive Bethan. This London based dj, and regular of the much loved queer venue, Dalston Superstore has been carving out a name for herself in the capital over the last couple of years. Across just 60 minutes, Bethan delves into trance, house, and breakbeat for a taste of what to expect from this exciting artist.

'This mix mainly consists of progressive house/trance & hard house tracks that I've discovered and/or played out lately. I didn't really intend for the mix to be a high NRG one, but it was fun to record and a good example of what you can expect to hear me play in the basement of Dalston Superstore.'

Graphics & identity by Gabriella Brown

Gabriella is a graphic designer, illustrator, and DJ from Melbourne, who's work has been popping up in our feeds for quiet some time now. Her work is fluid and organic in nature, and evokes a sensation of sound and movement.
