Wie klingt ein Friedhof – und was können Pflanzen uns erzählen?
Diese Frage stand im Mittelpunkt des Projekts „Pflanzenmusik: Klingender Friedhof – Die Zukunft der Friedhofskultur“, das von Juli bis Oktober 2025 auf den Friedhöfen in Marienfelde und Lichtenrade stattfand und von den Klangkünstler*innen Christian W Find aka chrifin  und Cassis B Staudt realisiert wurde.

Über mehrere Wochen führten die beiden Künstler*innen Gespräche mit Angehörigen an verschiedenen Grabstellen. Dabei hatten Besucher*innen die Möglichkeit, die Musik der Friedhofs-Pflanzen am Grab zu hören – ein berührender Moment, der persönliche Erinnerungen und klangliche Wahrnehmung miteinander verband.

chrifin verantwortet Konzept und die Umsetzung des Podcasts und verwebt die Gespräche mit den Pflanzenklängen von Cassis B zu einem faszinierenden akustischen Panorama der Friedhofsräume – zwischen Natur, Kunst und Wissenschaft. So entsteht ein Hörerlebnis, das Grenzen verschwimmen lässt: zwischen Mensch und Pflanze, zwischen Gespräch und Klang.

Die Podcast-Premiere fand am Freitag, 3. Oktober 2025 um 14 Uhr auf dem Kirchhof Lichtenrade statt. Als besonderes Highlight begleitete Friedhofsverwalter Andreas Krause live Pflanzen virtuos auf der Gitarre.
Das Projekt wurde von der Dezentralen Kulturarbeit Tempelhof-Schöneberg gefördert.
