With her talented ability to carefully adorn her songs with pulsating vibratos and strong fortes, it's no wonder why many have compared her to artists like Nina Simone, Tracy Chapman, and India Arie. Writing intimate, well-crafted songs that show ties between the human experience and love, Cassy Renee says that she only wishes to "leave a legacy of  timeless songs that will allow listeners to simply feel and relate to one another."
