Retro~Genesis

Immerse yourself in the pulsating rhythms of "Holiday Dreams," a synthwave track that transports you to a neon-lit dreamscape. This track is a sonic journey, blending nostalgic 80s synths with modern electronic elements. The melody, like a wave on a digital ocean, ebbs and flows, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and euphoria.

HOLIDAY DREAMS

I had other tracks in progress that I was planning to finish first, but when Softube released the Model 77 synthesizer plug-in, I couldn't wait to try it. I was immediately captivated by its sound and started experimenting with the 'ethereal' and 'pw echo' presets. I added another track with some 'Glowstic Bass' sub and featured 'Jumpin Joy'. I increased the reverb and added some age to a few of these while also doing some mix automation with noise. What was initially supposed to be just a few hours of playing around with the synth unexpectedly turned into a futuristic instrumental track.

I'm excited to release my other tracks soon, but this one has found its way into my heart, page, and synth playlists.

I stand still. Feel the wind against my skin, hear the world calling out to me. But each step feels heavier now. It’s as if the ground beneath me is slowly dissolving, and every choice feels as wrong as it does right.

In this void, where silence echoes louder than the noise of my thoughts, a realization begins to dawn. Perhaps it’s not the compass that fails, but me, who no longer dares to follow it. And if direction fades, what remains?

Maybe it’s in the uncertainty, in the act of losing myself, that I will finally be found.
