Created entirely within Cubase VST 32 5.1R1 (from 2001) running on Windows 7 using the original 1990s "Estrel" Atari ST files from floppy disk.

Based in Athens, Ilias Pitsios (aka Dynamons) is currently running the unique Into The Light Records, unearthing overlooked and unheard Greek music, while recently broadening it's spectrum to contemporary / international too. And he's also co-founder of Echovolt Records, beaming fresh and versatile waves on the club and electronic music scene since 2009.

Distant Worlds continues its fine run of form with " Through Worlds & Centuries", the eighth release, and first compilation, featuring tracks from Tagwell Woods, Mihail P, HOLOVR and Castel. Tracks vary from deep house to hybrid broken beat to acidic Detroit techno but all are underpinned by subtly beautiful melodies and an introspective, meditative feel.

This particular track was written over 20 years ago by Castel and had been sat on a DAT ever since.Until this point, he has only seen 1 release previously, on CD, back in the late 90s when he won a competition at a local club in Melbourne offering the opportunity to release on local label, DanceNet. This stands to be his first venture on vinyl and what a beautifully Balearic piece of music it is - guitars, trance elements and broken beats all set the scene for a beautiful summer sundowner.
