Weiss has made a bit of a welcomed habit in recent years of dropping a Sun-drenched bomb on Toolroom around this time of year and following on from 'You're Sunshine' last year, 'Feel My Needs' is his submission for 2018! Recent Weiss highlights have included him playing the main stage at Dirtybird's own Campout festival, regular dates at the world-renowned Fabric as well as a US tour and an album in the making.

In true Weiss style, this record will have the hairs on the back of your neck standing to attention in a matter of seconds. Lush, old skool piano riffs and sublime vocal licks, all laid over the top of a crisp and infectious house backing. This is a sure-fire future anthem and you can expect this to be providing the sound-track to many a memory throughout the Summer of 2018!

Mixing the musical spectrum and taking inspiration from early House, Philli Funk, 80's Hip-House and everything in between. The duo are the minds behind CUFF records and recently celebrated their 100th release. 

They're no strangers to the Toolroom Family and made their debut on the label with their remix of Sterling Void's 'It's Alright' in 2018. With their distinctive sound, style and flair, their next release on Toolroom, 'Serving Looks' is their first single on the label and it's a low-slung, peak-time, underground club cut. With skippy drums, a sleazy bass line and a hypnotic female vocal, this is signature Amine Edge & DANCE with that deep underground, bumpy vibe that they are now renowned for!

2020 is kicking off in a massive way here at Toolroom, as we welcome more new and exciting studio collaborations. The next release on the label comes fresh from House heavyweights ATFC and Gene Farris.

‘Spirit Of House’ is a jackin’ 90’s Chicago inspired groove. It’s an uplifting, dance floor ready track from two of House music's finest. Those unmissable vocals from the legendary Gene Farris add a stamp of old authenticity – he’s a bonafide Chicago legend, who’s contributions to the House music scene are undebatable. He’s been pushing musical boundaries for close to three decades, working with world-leading labels and artists such as Relief, Dirtybird, ViVa Music and Defected.

ATFC is a longstanding label favourite and household name in the scene. He has 3 UK top 40 hits under his belt and remixed tracks for the likes of P Diddy, Missy Elliot, Simply Red, Faithless and Dido. He’s entered Pete Tong’s Essential Mix hall of fame - and the BBC Radio 1 tastemaker himself described ATFC’s productions as ‘verging on genius’.

This collaboration is a match made in heaven. ‘Spirit Of House’ is a deeply playable, feel-good House record from two of the most established producers in the scene – and we can’t wait for more.
