I wrote this song after separating and connecting and making new friends with other people who had separated. We all leant on eachother for support at that time which helped us to feel less isolated. It also references my work a s a therapist and counsellor.

This song was inspired by the story of my Great Aunty Jean in New Plymouth and the love of her life, her fiance, Jack Grenfell. Tragically he died in World War Two. She not got over losing him and didn't meet anyone else before she passed away at 77. They look so happy in their photos and at the start of a wonderful life together.
