We are delighted to welcome DJ Sneak to Industry Standard. An artist that needs very little introduction in the House scene… Since being the forefather of the filtered disco house sound in the early 1990’s with his releases on Cajual, Relief, Henry Street & Strictly Rhythm, and his production credits with Daft Punk, he has been a mainstay in the underground scene with his unwavering style. Little has changed in Sneak’s music in this time, as he always delivers his jackin’ signature sound on his productions or in his DJ sets. So we are delighted to have him on the label.

He has delivered us a heavy 4 track EP, with vinyl dropping on 6th June, and the digital release dropping with a bonus Digital Only track on 27th June.

Dessous label boss Steve Bug arranges two special mixes that celebrate and re-juvinate this very special record.

Steve‘s straight up remix maintains the classic vibes with a sensitive 90s themed re-work that calls upon clean, fresh drums and smooth sub bass as its initial building blocks. The instantly recognisable vocal is included, as is the hey-day chord vibes and glorious US house melodies. Simply deadly in the right moments... A Re-Dub version is also included that spaces things out and opens up the strings in a breezy and superbly mixed club tool.

A ‚New York Dub‘ has also been included, dug out from the Chez Damier vaults and re-mastered for 2012 - highly prized vibes on this and his trademark, pushing, swinging drums keep us going ‚on and on‘!
