Seriously. We NEED like, the lo-fi genre or something, because I am STRUGGLING with plenty of my songs right now....
Anyway. This is the song I made back in the 2nd Winter half term (so November-December 2023), as an assessment piece. And, honestly, it pretty much sums up my go to sound as a composer, even now, as I adventure out and try new stuff! So, I thought I'd put it up here to show my...uh..."roots" essentially: the sort of stuff I would make before trying to branch out into other genres.
Nowadays, I try to do things a bit like Bowie, not sticking to one genre, trying to be composing a whole variable plethora of stuff, buuuut he definitely did it better...if you know me, it's a bit easy to tell whether it's a song I composed at times. And ultimately, it does lead back to the same sort of styles, no matter how hard I try...whoops.
