This the first in an upcoming series of Catalogue mixtapes. This one explores the sounds of Afropop/Afrobeats and Afro House from Nigeria, Ghana, Central African Republic, the African diaspora in places like London and Paris, as well as music inspired by those sounds (in the case of French rapper Jul's 'Tchikita').

From Montreal, Canada, Thomas P is neither African nor part of that musical scene. He has discovered this music thanks to the wonders of Internet. This mixtape was put together from a humble fan standpoint and Thomas and Catalogue's intention (as with our Spotify playlists) is hopefully for this music to reach new ears and for these artists to gain new fans.
