I found the lyrics to this song in an old book called Saddle Songs. I was tickled pink purple blue yellow orange green, finally Indigo; finding this treasure. I walked straight out into my yard one afternoon just before Sunset on La Contenta Road; I sat beneath a Joshua Tree and recorded this little tune.  My exploration in recanting this old saddle song is an act of Ode to a place that is full of magic, coyotes, snake, mountains, canyons and women who guide with fervent hearts & wise practical minds. A tribute to my Way and how I found Joshua Tree by way of living purely for passion.
