World music with a dubby feel, sometimes electonic dancey.
This was the first Barefoot Doctor music that I was exposed to. I listened many times and still do. I especially love my memory of when I was managing a backpackers in Coffee Bay, Transkei. I played it several times in the bar in the evenings when all the backpackers were gathered there. It was fun to see them foot-trapping and bobbing their heads in time to the beats, while he sang about upliftment and personal growth! They of course had no clue, but I feel certain the lyrics would have impacted positively somewhere, sometime in their lives. Rest in Peace now, dearest BD.
