First experience with SuperCollider.
It is based on Phase Modulation. Listening to Phase Modulation helped me a lot in living music as a spiritual experience again. Another thing that brought me closer to the mysticism of technology is the singing of the birds...I'm under the impression that here in Sweden birds never go to sleep! I had never noticed before how birds singing was similar to wave modulation techniques. warning: it's loud!

Lachrymae Odyssey - Act II

A multichannel piece with processed material from strings.
It's been a long time since I have dreamt of an electroacoustic odyssey around John Dowland's Lachrymae Pavane.

Lachrymae Odyssey - Act III

Sounds from lute, prepared piano, guitar, cello and my voice.
I used a lot of digital processing to get a timbral continuity between the different sound's sources.
The frequency spectrum is quiet wide. You are not gonna hear the very low frequencies in the first part of the piece without good loudspeakers.

I dreamt I was in Stockholm in the Seventies and I preserved that childish and playful mood which I consider as one of the most peculiar aspect of the first electronic music experiments and intrinsically related to the exploration of a new universe of sounds by the earliest pioneers of this music.
