From "normal" to hard to brutal to utterly broken, "Harsh Blast Beats" contains an extreme bandwidth of the Twisted Electron "Blast Beats" FM drum sounds and noises.

This pack is based on sample chains*, each of them highlighting a specific sound range and work through parameters in a musical way.

For the full glitch experience, they also capture the peculiarities of the sound chip where instruments influence each other, thus constantly morphing their shape (recorded using the individual outputs).

This pack is based on 1096 (!) samples: Kick (including bass sounds and noises), Snares, Toms, Hihats/Cymbals using the Drum voices as well as Claves, Rimshots, Bells, Cowbells and a collection of Squealy and Scratchy sounds using the Synth voices.

The samples are prepared in in four ways:
- All 1096 samples as 117 sample chains.
- Out of the 1096, a selection of 357 single samples for basic usage
- For both: All kicks, toms and snares again but with multiband overdrive added for extra harshness.

This Sample Pack is a digital item. It contains:
- WAV files at Mono, 44.1 kHz, 24 Bit (for e.g. Octatrack)
- WAV files at Mono, 48 kHz, 24 Bit (for e.g. Digitakt and Analog Rytm*)
- One Digitakt file with four patterns

*Chains with alternate lengths (15 instead of 16 slices/chain links) for Analog Rytm are provided.

Suitable for Gabber, Rhythmic Industrial, Glitch, Hard Techno, IDM, Rhythmic Noise, deranged Chiptunes, ...

The Sound Demos were created using only samples from the Pack. They were done on the Digitakt, and the Patterns are included in the Download.

They have performed at Barbican Centre, Kings Place, Luis Vuitton Foundation, Matadero Madrid, Berghain, Unsound Festival, London Contemporary Music Festival, Knockdown Centre, Norberg Festival, Pitchfork Music Festival, Basel Social Club, and others.

In music, she merges contrasting sounds, fusing drill and trap with hyperpop, sultry electronic beats, and reggaeton influences. Her sound is a fearless exploration of both feminine and masculine energies, breaking norms and creating new, unique sonic landscapes.

“This mix is a part of her swan song summer, as Porschelane is moving out of Athens after seven years in the city where she began her career. She opened what she would call “the only iconic event in Athens in ages” — Arca’s debut show on top of Lycabettus Hill for the Athens Epidaurus Festival.”

Catenation use instruments such as recorders (from sopranino to sub double bass), modular systems, analogue and digital synthesisers, electric bass guitar, found object percussion as well as broken retro equipment.
Catenation has performed at e.g. Krema Festival CH, Elektron Super Sekvens, Unerhörte Musik DE, Rock Sound EG, Goethe Institute Cairo and Alexandria EG, SoundsLikeTHIS UK, Dampfzentrale Bern CH, Interfilm Festival Berlin DE, IntegratedConf BE, Marry Klein Kulturdonnerstag DE, Setfest IR and Klangwerkstatt, played as support for Plaid, appeared on compilations such as Listen To Berlin and received scholarships from the Musikfonds, Neustart Kultur and the Goethe Institute.
