✔️ What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

Caterina Infinity : Mainly Post Punk, New Wave, the rest is add on! 
I was Born n raised in a hotel bar. The juke box was my favorite toy. This is where it all started. 

Minja : Coming from a classical background it might seem odd that I started enjoying electronic music. The first events I attended at Fusion-Festival and MUNA in Thuringia/Germany, which still, after 30 years of history presents finest house music. 
Soon after I discovered Berlin's Clubscene that broadened my view on what styles of dance music are out there. Nowadays I live groovy, bouncy, uplifting, driving sound. Whether it be influenced by middle eastern-, afro-, and even progressive and technoid sounds.

✔️ What makes a good "afterhour"?

Caterina Infinity :  Nice beats with a touch of ´80 n dirty bass. 

Minja  : Great humans, sunlight, actually I love to sleep before 😅

• Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?

Caterina Infinity : Was a last minute invitation from MINJA to share the deck with her. One of the best invitation I ever received. 

Minja  : Back in Thailand, when we played at a secret and secluded beach I had the wish to invite Caterina to this set and it was such a pleasure to be finally making it happen. 


✔️ What was your experience of the set you recorded for the naked tea Party?

Caterina Infinity : That was one of the most memorable  and one of a kind gig I have ever done. Tea was delicious 🤤 

 Minja  :  Wonderful, since the crowd was filled with friends and loved ones, the artists, the dancers, the hosts. Marvelous

Born and raised in a hotel bar, at 5 years old Caterina favorite toys were the jukebox and her roller skates. She spent her days in the basement of her family home listening and dancing to the records of the days. She started making mixtapes at the age of 9 when she received her first radio cassette. Her musical styles include indie dance, dark disco, progressive house and downtempo, with a touch of '80s and a groovy bassline. Her influences come from Post punk music and New Wave. She is also part of the Cosmovision Records label in Montreal.
Caterina has been getting people dancing all around the globe in festivals such as Envision in Costa Rica, Omnia, Illusion, Era...
From underground loft parties in Montreal to beach parties in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Thailand, France and Spain. And in many clubs in France, Japan, Berlin such as Klunkerkranich and Sisiphos and all the way out into the deep playa of Burning Man.

Rafaelle is a singer & electronic artist. Rafaelle’s smooth, profound and unique voice has been influenced both by the study of vocal Jazz and Hindustani classical vocal studies in Northern India.
Her most recent Project ‘HUMAN INSTRUMENT’ debuted at la SAT in 2018 & 2019. An immersive, multimedia performance in the Satosphere, where her acapella voice displays and effects the visual and synesthetic effects of Cymatics. Rafaelle has always sung with multiple local and international DJs of various styles throughout her vocal career. Inspired to sing the depth of the earth into sound and vocal play, Rafaelle is a voice to be celebrated.

By exposure to music from early childhood, Caterina's life has allowed her to reach out and get in touch with it in multiple ways. Since the age of five she spent a enormous time in the basement of her family, home listening and dancing to the records of those days and, it didn't take long to create her first sound compilations, well at the age of nine, when she received her first radio cassette. Nowadays, as a DJ she has been getting people dancing all over the globe, from underground loft parties in Montreal, Illusion Festival, beach parties in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Lyon nightclub and all the way out into the Deep Playa at Burning Man. Also being part of the Canadian label Cosmovision, her style is mainly mixing present-day electronic grooves, but here and there Caterina is referencing her mixtapes with a brushstroke through the musical universe concept of the 80s. 

With a fearless and atmospheric approach, Caterina delivers a well-supplied mixtape to this 168th edition. Certainly, taking a look and seeing an unusual tracklist is simultaneously provocative and stimulating, and above all, from several references and a keen intuition, she was perceptive, maintaining a singular cohesion of an unexpected flow throughout the podcast. Regardless of its composition, the selection is shown as an embargo, and Caterina controls the flow very well for almost 59 minutes — just have to play.
