100 In The City is the debut single by the American Future Pop group Catfight And The Hippo.  The song is built around a moog synth bass line and straight driving drum loop conjuring vibes of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean meets Beverly Hills Cop's Axl F.  The band was listening to a lot of 80's at the time of recording and the flavor really shines through on the record.  The 80's influence is most evident in the simple synth arrangements that accompany the rhythm section reminiscent of Tears For Fears, A Ha, Simple Minds and Toto. In full disclosure, the band reveals that the true inspiration for the song is Al Pacino's portrayal of Cocaine Kingpin Tony Montana in the movie Scar Face.  The band sites the movies soundtrack as setting the mood for the record.  These vintage influences are interwoven with the modern vocal stylings of Lace's silky vocal melodies and Rambo Luciano's  trap influenced melodic pop flow.  The song 100 In The City will be a fresh addition to ears of fans of Travis Scott, Drake, Juice World, The Weekend, Lil Pump, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Yella Wolf, Machine Gun Kelly, Mac Miller, Dj Snake, Post Malone, and G Easy.
