His productions and sets are characterized by having strong industrial techno influences and a very dynamic-aggressive aesthetic. X-Alox is also part of Hioll's Cuban based Abstraction label on which he released most of his tracks yet!

Over the past 18 months he has had a non-stop release schedule, with releases on labels such as Obscuur, HARDER, Under Division and Khazad Records. He made his vinyl debut on Rudosa’s imprint Moments in Time back in February which saw his track “What you do to me” rise in to the top 50 of Beatport’s Techno chart. His releases have gained solid support from some of the biggest names in the industry, most noticeably from Amelie Lens, who included one of his tracks in to her Radio 1 residency mix showcasing new faces in the techno scene.

Long removed from electronic music, punk and
metal are the major influences of Opäk.
Noticed for his energy on stage and his ability to
play, he becomes resident of the Parisian
collective, Newtrack and co-founded the label
Askorn Records.
An artist with a resolutely rock universe, he covers
a broad musical spectrum. From EBM to
hardcore, acid to industrial break, he plays on
musical blends combining rock, rap, metal to
powerful kicks, bewitching melodies tinged with
industrial textures.
After sharing decks with Blawan, Rebekah, The
horrorist, Randomer, Anetha ... He receives
support from emblematic producers such as Paula
Temple, Parrish Smith or Kenny Campbell on his
productions. In 2020 he founded the Opäk & the
Seelen Zieher project» offering a 3-dimensional
work combining dance, Vjing and music. A dark
and poetic universe to discover on stage.

We actually first met many years ago at MMADJ where his love for techno brought him over from Northern Ireland to Manchester for a studio session and even from early on it was easy to see his love for hard pounding Techno would take him for in the industry. 

Many years later after releases on @somarecords @djrebekah label, @momentsintimerecords and now starting his own label is brilliant to have him on the show.

Hyperactive entrepreneur of the London techno scene, French producer Cathédral is here to stay with a growing number of promising projects under his belt. In 2018 he co-founded the London party-turned-label MASS, bringing faster sounds and liberated raves to the capital. In 2020 he launches LABURNŪM, a home for emerging artists promoting techno grooves, cut on exclusive dubplates. He concentrates his sound on house-infused, old-school-informed grooves, looking back to the 90s and the 00s but all at breakneck speed towards the future.
