This is pretty close to the Simon and Garfunkel arrangement of this song - but I decided life was too short to try to be all the fancy guitar stuff, so I added a drone instead.

Scarborough Fair

The score for this music is titled: Ave Verum à trois voix d'hommes sans accompagnement (à chanter pour mon enterrement) - for three male voices without accompaniment (to be sung at my burial). Delibes apparently wrote it in 1885, but he didn't die until 1891, so either he had a sombre state of mind or he was thinking ahead. I suspect the latter, it's pretty cheerful for funeral music. Or perhaps I have misunderstood the mood completely? Anyway, it's lovely.
The photo is of La Sainte Chappelle at Vincennes, which is so incredibly filled with light that it is almost more beautiful to me than the one on the Ile de la Cité.
