'Morning’s Coffee' is a piece composed for the Quatuor Bozzini string quartet composed around a short story written for this piece by the composer.
This piece is based on chord clusters which the performers work with and gradually glissando between written notes and improvised microtones which are based on the swirled lines in the background of the graphic score.

Each of the graphic scores in this project has been created with a selected colour pallet that was chosen to create connections in the performer's brain which will then be translated into music.

'To Escape is to Fly' is a piece composed for open instrumentation. 
This piece aimed to create a link between the ideas of escapism and flying. The layout of the staves is used to represent a flight path through the clouds.

‘Through Cumbrian Hills’ is a piece composed for the Orchestra of the Swan.  This piece was inspired by my recent trip to Cumbria.  Nature has always been a large source of inspiration for my compositions and as I spent time travelling through beautiful scenery I became inspired to depict my journeys in this piece. 
This is a through-composed piece based around a main theme which is repeated throughout but is initially heard in the Horns.  This 10 bar melodic theme was created to represent the journey through the rolling hills and landscapes of Cumbria.
