Full Poem:

Belief, Acceptance 

I believe in love at first sight
I believe in two souls being destined
to be together

Yet all I've experienced 
is a cruel, cruel fate
of changes,
obstructions,
defeats time and time again.

I have seen cowardice
I have seen envy

I have seen my love taken away
I have seen him walk the wrong path
I have seen him suffer without me

Because we are no longer one
We never will be
And that is the fate I have come
to accept.
