Two bits of brilliance which keep standing out for me are the repeated "This time" and the choice of bass note at the main chorus starting at "The Bells.... This is a tremendous piece of work by all.

Frank Duval ist mein Vorbild , er hat mich in meiner Musik sehr inspiriert ! Auch mein Weg war nicht immer einfach mit meiner Musik! Ich wollte schon mit der  Musik aufhören , weil ich immer wieder an die falschen Menschen geraten bin .

Doch dann entdecke John Styles mich , durch ihn und meiner Frau habe ich wieder Motivation und die Liebe zur Musik gefunden . Dafür möchte ich einfach nur Danke sagen !

Ich fragte John neu zu ordnen und einer meiner favorit Songs von Frank Duval "Schwarzer Walzer" produzieren, und ich schicke ihn alle Live-Aufnahmen, die ich hatte, er sorgfältig die besten Teile nahm, alle Spuren gereinigt und aufgeklebt alles zusammen, wie ich gespielt hätte, aber immer noch mit meiner eigenen Unterschrift in diesem Lied in meinem Stil, wir beide hoffen, dass Sie es genauso genießen werden wie wir dieses Cover haben zu schaffen.

 

Frank Duval is one which could be by commercialism never clip the wings and exceed the ever musical boundaries - for 30 years now.

Frank Duval. Composer, arranger, keyboardist, singer, producer. The Berlin, which has become endemic to the Spanish island of La Palma, one of the most creative and versatile sound creators of the international music industry.

Like no other he knows how to blend distinctive melodies, innovative sounds and demanding lyric harmony. A work that leaves action. Duval touches and grips - as it symbolizes the simple eagle on the cover of his albums: This music is eagle with powerful wings. She grabs, collects, transmits continuously and can discover.

Frank Duval is my role model, he really inspired me in my music! Also, my road was not always easy with my music! I wanted to stop performing because I am advised to the wrong people repeatedly.

But then John Styles discovered me, through him and my wife I have found motivation and love for music. I would like to just say thank you!

I asked John to re-arrange and produce one of my favorit songs of Frank Duval „Schwartzer Walzer“, and I send him all live recordings I had, he carefully took the best parts, cleaned all the tracks, and glued everything together as I would have played it, but still in my style with my own signature into this song, we both hope you’ll enjoy it just as much as we did creating this cover.

Welcome to our new release and cover of the soundtrack “Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain” composed by Yann Tiersen.
This was one of the first songs Oliver played on his piano, John immediately wanted to rearrange Oliver’s recording, and make it longer accompanied with a complete string section.
So they started to record it all over again, they started sending tracks back and forth till they were both satisfied with it.
The fact that they both can’t read notes, everything was hummed on a Dictaphone, so they could hear how it was suppose to sound like.
First the piano track was finished, then the harmonies were created (also by humming) so eventually they could be played as string tracks, this was all done by creating and adjusting midi’s.
Because John and Oliver are not really midi experts, we’re still learning, and a lot of things doesn’t go as we hoped it would, however this piece will be done properly at a later stage too, we hope Matt Baker will join us, as he’s the real midi expert, as it’s very easy for us to say with recordings what we want, but how to execute, that’s another thing.

We hope you will enjoy this piece just as much as we did creating it.

Well, they changed the site, no longer Classic soundcloud and it's hard to find others latest songs with dang reposts-also hardly anyone can see my new uploads and it sure shows with less song listens, and this will be the last time I give them a dime so when subscription ends will remove a bunch of songs (or find another site) casera.....oh well, I live in rural Minnesota and have been grateful to the internet to connect up with others involved in music and also doing some internet collaborations with other artists I have met online on different sites.I love listening to others creative music in many genre's, and it motivates me to continue to create as a hobby and share with others too.
