About the song from Eric Of Cathode

This song is inspired by the amount of times I wanted to quit making music, or the amount of times I wanted to quit pursuing my dreams because it was too difficult and tiresome. 
I wanted to write a song to let people know in the end, if you put hard work into it, everything will work out. (Its ironic because the song is called Don't Stop but there were so many times when i nearly scrapped this song and stopped haha.)
The music world is hard to make it in, but I realize putting a lot of effort into something like this is rewarding. Even if there are times when there are doubts to why Im doing this. Why I am wasting my time putting countless hours into a project where I get zero money from it. But when there is just one person who says, "Hey, this song is dope man." or even "Dude. Sick" it makes my day. It makes me feel that I have accomplished something. 

that is what I strived for when working on this song or any song. To feel good about myself that some one took their time to listen to my song and compliment about it. 

So thank you. Don't Stop pursuing your dreams. Put in the most amount of effort into it. In the end, it is worth it.

When you think of big name edm acts like avicci or Hardwell, what comes to mind is an unapproachable, personality-void, giant who stands behind an LCD wall blocking everything but the his hands waving in the air when he's jumping up and down.

Cathode is not that. We make music for the underserved community because we are the underserved community. We make unCola for the kids who have been tricked into only drinking coke their whole lives. We are just a couple college buddies who like to make music that we’d be stoked to hear at a house party.  
 
The group consists of DJ Wrightsound and Wyatt (drummer). This creative drummer/DJ duo from Tokyo and LA is an odd couple with their minds on everything from film scoring, to creating tight-ass, unorthodox advertising, to designing dope sustainable living solutions for low-income families. We skate, make music, dig mid-century modern architecture, and have a fascination with 1960s America.
