Tired Clown

Ein Gastarbeiter flieht aus dem Moloch einer Bergarbeitersiedlung. Seine verständnislose Frau lässt er zurück und gerät auf der Suche nach dem Heimweg in politische Unruhen, wird schuldlos verhört, gefoltert und in ein Konzentrationslager gesperrt. Er erlebt Brutalität und Willkür, auch Solidarität. Kann fliehen, will kämpfen, gegen die Ungerechtigkeit, findet Halt in der Liebe einer Gefährtin. Schließlich strandet er in einem Dorf, das von den Fluten eines Hochwassers fortgerissen wird.

This is the music that I played when the audience entered the room on Organ Night, Oct.14 2023, Stavanger Concert Hall. One week after the start of the Israel/Hamas war, it seemed not possible to begin the concert in a normal atmosphere.
