Originally recorded in 2018 for my college's mental health week, recorded with a better mic in June 2019. 

Dodie's one of my favorite artists and perhaps one of the most influential ones in my life! She's helped me deal with my own mental health issues and my own hurts over the past couple of years. Times may be really hard right now and will keep getting more difficult, but this song keeps bringing me so much hope each time I come back to it. I hope I did it justice with my version and that I could share some of that hope with you as well!

Hello! To kick off the new year, here's a recording from 2018. This one's a classic. (and the very first dodie song that got me into her music!)

It is also perhaps the first cover I recorded seriously-- way back in July 2018 when I only had an iPad, cheap earphones, and feelings I didn't know what to do with. This one's the more polished version from June 2019 with a USB mic and feelings I /still/ didn't know what to do with BUT I could finally put a name to. This song has changed in meaning for me with every passing year. It's a wonder what can happen in that span of time.
