I was hired to compose and produce a more poppy song for a film. Just heard back that they like it and I can keep working on it. I enjoyed singing this too, fun stuff. Here is a clip from it. More drafts to come.

Nemesis

My clients like where I'm going with my first draft of The Boys of Summer with my voice and the basic arrangements. I will go back into the studio with a better guitar that I rented to work on it. Dreamy nostalgia is the feeling the client wants to get from it for its placement in the film. Have to do the intro and ending, electric guitar solo in the middle. This is just the beginning of it all for arrangements. They may replace it with their own session musicians but they will keep my arrangements if they like them and the vocals always stay. Thank you Dan Hill for the mentorship on arrangement, what a difference it has made. ❤🥰😁🤩

Palliative care patients and their families are hiring me to grant them a final music wish. I talk to the patient or family member on Zoom to get a sense of what kind of music they would like me to compose for them to listen to on their final journey. They might want to float away to a gentle flute score with winter scenes playing visually or something more lively with electric and acoustic guitars, or something soft and sublime with keyboard or piano. Sometimes they want me to create a video to go with the music, and they pick what they want to see.

In return, they contribute to the Jane LeBlanc Legacy Fund.
This is my latest composition, Winter Interlude. Unfortunately, the person I composed this for is no longer with us. It lightens my heart to know that they began their final journey while listening to Winter Interlude with their family and watching the winter scenes video; they loved winter. I hope it gave them all some peace. ❤️

I wish I had done this for my sister Janey, but she probably would have wanted me to compose a heavy metal score that would have blown the walls out. 😇

I was hired to compose music and do vocals for a fantasy film. This is another short clip of the larger score I'm working on with some nice visuals to set the mood. I find that creating these short music clips with video has really helped me win over clients and get hired.

Hush

I was hired to compose original music for an 80s comedy vampire film. Fun! I had a great time with this one. I used my homemade synth, KORG synth, and other instruments during the creation process.

It's called Sexy Summer Vampire, and it's very campy!

This is a very special project that I did recently for Judy Losier for a very special place in my hometown of Miramichi to help those grieving and suffering the loss of loved ones. Percy's Place is a stand-alone palliative facility at 1284 Water Street, Miramichi, NB. The people there are amazing.
