Love In The Machine

One of my favourite music compositions and songs is She's Magic. I created it for two people I really like, Tracey and Paul for their wedding. I composed this more filled out score for a singer who loves it. My goal has been to fill out all the scores for my pared down music and songs and sell more of my music for use on projects, so far, so good.

That Summer 1

I composed this song for a project recently. The inspiration was my late sister Janey. After she died in 2010, I kept thinking that I saw her on city streets, around corners, in malls, everywhere. It was so eerie. It was like she was still with me.

Ghost Watch

One of my favourite songs that I have written is "Every Song in Her Name." I love this rising Nashville artist's version of my song. His management obtained a license for it. This style is very different from his other songs.

I'm in the process of going through my entire original music and songs catalogue to create fully produced versions of each song. I took a master class in music production and mastering. I then took a master class in vocal production to get my newer sound. I am hoping to licence more songs for use and so far it's working.

Memory

This was a challenging creative project. I have done music for experimental projects before but the dance was poetry in motion for me and deserved a worthy soundscape. The artist's vision was profound and I'm thrilled she was happy with what I composed and recorded vocally. None of this work would be possible without the generous support from artsnb to upgrade my music studio and for the time I spent at the Banff Centre in their Musician in Residence Program.
