This clip from a larger music score for a commercial music client is inspired by someone I know. I call her Danny. 

Whether for my projects or other people's projects, all my music is inspired by someone, a place, a time in my life, a feeling. 

These sparks inspire me to create.

Danny's Song

A young man builds wings out of wax, flies too close to the sun and crashes. That is the old greek story. 

But what happens if we learn "not to fly too high nor too low", as Ikarus gets instructed by the craftsman Daedelus in this old myth? 

This song is a new interpretation of the old motive. Instead of crashing, I explore old cities underneath the water (Atlantis?), find treasures in the deep jungle and watch the desert from a flying carpet.

I am not very good with translations, so I have just copied the German lyrics into the Google Translator and here is the outcome:

Ancient cities deep under the water
Secret beings in the forest
Dark the caves, old mysteries
The treasure rests deep in the forest
