Eliseo Adri, born and raised in the Tuscan mountains, began his musical journey with classical saxophone training before venturing into music production in 2018 and DJing shortly after. In 2022, he became a resident DJ at Florence’s renowned Tropical Animals party, where he honed his craft and explored diverse styles in a true club setting. Now based in Berlin, Eliseo is carving his own unique path in the electronic music scene.

This techno set begins with an Indian-American chant, setting a distinct spiritual tone. It evolves from groovy, dark moods into a more peak-time vibe in the second half, offering listeners a dynamic and immersive journey.

CatMint is a DJ/TDJ project by Ukrainian artist and performer Mariia Volkova, known as Panda for her performances with Veselka, Nechto, Pornceptual, and more. Born in Donetsk, Mariia moved to Kyiv in 2014 and began her career as a performer.

CatMint’s music is a vibrant, sexy fusion of Hard House, House, Neo-Trance, Techno and Dark Disco. Her DJ shows work on multiple levels, combining unforgettable performances with groovy, sensual tunes. After debuting in Berlin, her shows quickly captivated audiences, setting dance floors ablaze. Since 2024, Mariia has been based in London, where she continues to live and work.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: How was your first DJ gig?
𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙈𝙄𝙉𝙏: Like the first time having sex.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Why did you choose DJing as a form of self-expression?
𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙈𝙄𝙉𝙏: After 11 years of working in clubs, becoming a DJ was the most logical next step for me.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Sex and music - why do they go together?
𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙈𝙄𝙉𝙏: Sex and music go together because both are about raw energy, emotion, and connection. As a DJ, I play music that is sensual and provocative, designed to move people—both physically and emotionally. Music, like sex, is a universal language; it transcends boundaries and allows people to express their most authentic selves. For me, every set I play is an intimate dialogue with the audience, full of passion, rhythm, and freedom.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: What plans do you have for the coming year?
𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙈𝙄𝙉𝙏: I’m completely focused on my career. My plan is to work really hard, become the best version of myself, and achieve my goals. Performing on big stages, making music, staying healthy, and remaining independent.

BASEMENT introduces BASEMENT Archives, a new podcast series highlighting standout sets recorded live in the club. 

First up is the impromptu b2b2b2b from Fadi Mohem, Kancheli, NDRX and Philippa Pacho that closed out last April’s Bassiani takeover. If you were there, you know how special this night was. Ten minutes before we planned to wrap the night, it was decided that the music simply could not stop. The four artists took over the booth in BASEMENT, and what resulted was 3 hours of euphoric techno that sent everyone out on an incredible high. These are moments that can’t be planned, curated or recreated. When they happen, you pray the recorder is on and running. Thank god it was.

Your Love

Paraglide is one of those rare early 90s trance records that defined an era. Crafted in 1993 by German studio wizards Oliver Lieb and Torsten Stenzel for Hamburg imprint Superstition, the original mix channels pure lift-off energy: rolling bass, hypnotic synth lines and widescreen pads that helped cement the duo’s reputation as pioneers of dreamy, emotionally charged trance. 

The extended “Blue Sky Mix” stretches that feeling into a long-form flight, slowly building tension and euphoria over more than twelve minutes. On the remix front, Humate push “Paraglide” into deeper, progressive territory, a version often cited as a landmark in early progressive trance, while Mijk Van Dijk reshapes the track with his signature techno-driven momentum. 

Together, these four versions capture the full spectrum of mid-90s Frankfurt trance – timeless, atmospheric and built for big systems. 

Now the classic EP appears in a fresh remasteres from Oliver Lieb.
