The first three pieces in an autobiographical soundtrack I'm working on.
1. Time - no beginning, no end, we exist
2. Five - a life where the most important decisions were whether to have macaroni or hot dogs for lunch. Floating "boats" in the gutter on a rainy day. Goldfish pond. Freshly cut grass. Grandpa.
3. Seven - the innocence is destroyed and life takes a change that will be with me for the next four decades. Things no seven-year-old should ever experience. Still, there is always the peace and love of grandpa interwoven with the guilt, shame, and lies.

Nano-seconds later, twinned with a strange desire to sit on her neighbours car bonnet, she shirked off the responsibilities of a mundane life, pawned her guitar, midi-ed her hairbrush and bought a sampler...
