Our annual highlight PɅRŎUSIɅ is finally back and shines in new splendor.

MŎNɅDɅ has called together his brothers from different countries and cultures to create an unforgettable soundscape of distinctive, deep and organic downtempo music. The result is a harmonious blend of 14 epic tracks that will make our hearts beat faster and turn any dance floor into a seething fire.

PɅRŎUSIɅs Dreamteam 2021 consists of: Sydka, Mula, Ka:lu, Sangeet, Dario Klein, Amir Telem, Kapoor, Guy Maayan, Marcelo Berges, Max TenRoM, Richard Elcox & Matija, Überhaupt & Außerdem, Xila, Nada.

Once again, we are incredibly grateful and happy to share this jewel with our community and family. Borrowing from the meaning of PAROUSIA, we celebrate the return of light and the coming chapter 2022 in honor of life.

Premiere:   Sydka - Night Creed (Original Mix) [MŎNɅDɅ]

We've spent the last few months doing what we love most: digging for new music and fresh sounds to expand our down. family.

The result is an EP with the Dutch artist @rozeofc, whose synth-heavy, danceable sound fits perfectly with our current musical ideas.

The two originals are complemented by a phenomenal remix by @sydkasd, who transformed the EP's title track into a groovy banger that will hopefully set one or the other festival sound system on fire this summer.

Additionally, our French friend @laurent-flahaut has contributed a minimalistic edition of the second track, rounding out the original's distinctive character with his own twist.

We want to welcome all three artists to our down. family and thank them for their great contributions and give as well credits to our graphic designer Kilian Van De Water and to our mastering engineer Haunted Water.

Premiere: Sydka - Twist [MONADA]

@at_ric's upcoming release is a must-listen for fans of dynamic, synthesizer-infused sound. The EP boasts a captivating, driving structure that will keep you moving from start to finish.

To round up the release, it includes two reimagined versions by the talented producers @sydkasd and @bawabmusic, who each bring their own unique spin to Atric’s original compositions.

As always we want to thank all artists involved for their great contributions and also point out the spot on mastering by Haunted Water and the always beautiful artwork by Kilian Van de Water.

Feral & Spekki Webu : Convergence of Ethereal Realms

Emerging from the magnetic allure of Mo:Dem Festival's Swamp stage, https://soundcloud.com/feral_music & https://soundcloud.com/spekkiwebu delivered a live-set experience that firmly planted itself into the collective consciousness. Monument is privileged to share the set that marked their second harmonious collaboration, weaving a sound tapestry that continues to resonate.

Their performance at Mo:Dem Festival 2022 was a testament to techno's evocative power – combining FERAL's ethereal undertones rooted in Rome and Spekki Webu's enchanting rhythms hailing from Delft.

The duo's collaborative magic didn't halt there. By August 2023, they graced the stages of Dekmantel Festival ’23 aan ’t IJ. With Feral's renowned prowess in audio engineering and Spekki Webu's described aptitude as a 'snake charmer' for his intricate selections, they lifted audiences to interstellar heights. Fans are abuzz with excitement for their forthcoming live-set project at Positive Education on the 4th of November.

Beyond their joint ventures, Spekki Webu's skills extend to sound design freelancing, and he is renowned in post-audio production for films. Feral, on the other hand, immerses himself in the heart of Rome, running a studio where he excels as a freelance mastering and mixing engineer for various clients.

While you indulge in this Monument offering, allow your anticipation to build: a joint release on Aube Rouge, Feral's esteemed label, is slated for Winter/Spring 2024. This project, birthed from their combined expertise and shared sessions, beckons as a tantalizing next chapter in their shared journey.

From Modem to Dekmantel, with an eager gaze set on Positive Education and Aube Rouge, Feral & Spekki Webu's musical exploration offers marvel at every turn.

We're happy to be back with a single by Glenn Shaw, accompanied by Sydka's remix. 
Glenn's tune 'Fernriese' features a prominent, weighty bassline that drives the rhythm forward while it's characterized by an exciting counterplay of two melodic elements, creating a dialogue through the track. 
Sydka's interpretation takes a softer approach, leaded by a more floating atmosphere.

Music opens up an unknown realm to people, a world that has nothing in common with the external world of the senses that surrounds them and in which they leave behind all certain feelings in order to surrender to an inexpressible desire.

It is this desire that Deep Ändi tries to express in his single "Niemegk." Music tells stories, but individual sounds can also become stories in themselves, uniting several plots in one emotion and bringing them together again at the end.

This love of sound design is taken up by the two great remixes and is processed in different ways. bawab & Sydka impressively strip back to the essentials and bring the sound of "Niemegk" to the dancefloor with the unmistakable groove for which the two are known.

Iorie picks up on the mystical elements of the original and spins the story further, which takes place on the edge of the distinction between fantasy and reality. As always, Iorie takes you on a journey that offers plenty of room for imagination through attention to detail.
