The Unknown

Why hello and welcome back loves! This past month has been utterly bizarre but the show must go on.  As heard popularly from Tekken Tag Tournament 1 , this is my version of Xiaoyu's Theme.

Here we go, for this track, I wanted to keep the flow of the original track (which I have always been obsessed with) but add a bit of Moog/EBM elements to it for the remixed version. I am no stranger to gaming so this was definitely such a fun mix to create and dedicate to Tekken, video game and dark music lovers everywhere. Welcome back to the CatBox everyone! In celebration of such a beautiful and successful Fall season, I wanted to create a mix dedicated to one of my favorite Universal Monsters, sweet and delicate Frankenstein. As you've learned I absolutely adore a lot of horror, so accept this spooky treat brainstormed at 2am from yours truly.

I wanted to incorporate more of my influences within this track as well. The sample track I utilized was "And One- Rearming Strafbomber" from their 2006 EP "Frontfeuer". I could never do that justice but I like a challenge and have an enormous amount of respect for artists all over.

PERSONA 3 Portable A Way of Life (Codename C.A.T. Remix)

Happy February! Ah yes, the month of Valentines, Mardi Gras and Black History month. I hope all of your New Years has kicked off to a great start so far. With that being said, this mix took me the longest so far when it comes to comparing to my monthly mix series here. I kinda pulled this whole thing out of my hat, put it all together, and then boom ProjectX was born. This mix includes inspiration from The Weeknd, Jeremih, Kpop and Slow Trap music vibes.
