The Polish-based Belarusian producer has already made an immediate mark since releasing his first-ever release in 2023 on NickBee's Axon Records. Since then, he has released on leading Neurofunk labels Neuropunk and Eatbrain, as well as remixed the likes of Jade, Teddy Killerz, and Gydra.

Following these successful releases and remixes, as well as his and his debut outing with "The Rave Feeling" on Transmissions Pt. 2, it's only fitting to see him take centre stage with his debut release on the label with 'Boogie Woogie/Club Girl,' a double A-side single that combines jump-up and mainstream Drum and Bass with his unique Neuro twist.

'Club Girl' is a high-powered hybrid that merges a Mainstream Drum and Bass sound with a Neuro essence. Featuring robotic vocals and packed with four-to-the-floor energy, it boasts empowering synth stabs, thudding kick drums, crunching waves of percussion, and promises to be a dancefloor favourite.

Both tracks mark a significant debut for Skrimor on Evolution Chamber, signalling the beginning of an exciting journey within the label. Evolution Chamber proudly welcomes Volatile Cycle, Dropset, and Konquest as they come together to take centre stage and release their debut single on the imprint.

All three artists boast an impressive back catalogue between them, including labels such as Blackout, Eatbrain, Viper, C4C, and Bad Taste in which they released their first collaboration as a trio, 'Drowning', marking a significant milestone. Their most recent joint effort, 'Damocles', was featured on Evolution Chamber’s 'Transmissions' series in April. Now, they step into the spotlight to present their apocalyptic dance floor anthem 'Close Your Eyes'.

‘Close Your Eyes’ channels striking influences from horror, evoking feelings of depression, loss, and insecurity, which transform this distinctive Drum and Bass track into an anthem. Konquest's vocals convey a sense of urgent despair, along with a desolate and haunting sorrow throughout the track's introduction. This leads into a deep, dark, and murky drop that fosters a sense of insecurity as the mood deepens, growing increasingly dystopian as the track progresses. ‘Close Your Eyes’ isn’t just a track, it's a story that delves deeper into realms of tenebrous doom.

Beneath an emerald sky, the last vestiges of human civilization clung to meager life amidst the pockmarked ruins of their former home. Their humble enclosure, only measuring one kilometer in diameter, had begun its term initially as an experimental society built on small-scale self-sufficiency. Enclosed within had been some 40-odd volunteers who had permanently forsaken their lives beyond the dome, leaving behind the world they had known for the promise of utopia anew.

That had been countless solar cycles ago, a period of time that had seen the inhabitants of the dome watch the slow downfall of the civilization they had left behind through the dome’s veridian glass. Climactic shifts, wars for resources, the erosion of the atmosphere- all had passed them by within their impenetrable fortress. Instead, the dome’s inhabitants, led by a keen understanding of their environment’s carrying capacity, had quashed any similar internal conflicts with the creation of a draconian legal code that governed every aspect of their lives, a monotonous existence of daily rations, forced labor, and mandated deaths. Yet still each citizen of the dome looked to the outside and wished to be nowhere else, for there amidst the endless sands such a spartan existence was all that remained to be lived for their ilk.

XYLYM makes his full EATBRAIN debut with DOOMSDAY, a four-track EP that sees the producer emerge from the ranks of the label’s DIVERGENCE compilation series to stand alone before the horde alongside collaborators Scalez & Zeph Miles as he leads the label’s faithful through the furious sonics of DOOMSDAY.

The track winds up steadily, before its jagged bassline catches you by the aural synapses and throws you between each one of its layers. It’s difficult to pull yourself away from the record’s intricate grasp, one which
is meticulously manufactured. Ducking and diving between each sonic stab, it pushes forward on clanking kicks and warbling bass. Causing unease, causing disquiet and causing some serious dancefloor damage, Cause4Concern are back to their invincible best, and those caught in their collective laser beams will never be quite the same again. Optiv (Deceased) & CZA have been an institution in drum & bass since their collective beginning back in 1999, and are in no way ready to give up on their plans of world domination just yet. 

From their London base, they have set about and conquered many different styles of drum & bass, be it on their own family of labels, or via such major players as Virus, Invisible, Quarantine, Playaz and many more. Their performances have graced all parts of the world, and have left crowds stunned and begging for more. Their artistry, versatility and quality are all hallmarks of their dedication to the scene, stretching back some 20 years. 

Since the very start, C4C have been widely respected, no matter what they have turned their hands to. Their first release was on the mighty Moving Shadow, and it wasn’t long until they put their creative heads together, and started their own seminal imprint. That label, C4C Recordings, has seen releases and remixes from some amazing artists, including Audio, Prolix, Black Sun Empire, Mindscape, Teebee, Gydra, Matrix, IHR and more, and, as artists themselves. One of their finest moments came with the issue of the Pandemic album in 2008, further cementing their reputation for awe-inspiring, high quality music. 

C4C’s sound is a story of contrasts. From the light to the dark, but deeper, and deeper still, they blend the seemingly simple with the highly intricate. Crystalline drums mix with warming, liquid bass notes. C4C are, and have never been, about any one thing, but add elements to their palette which are least expected. Their music shines with brilliance, being sharply original and experimental at all times. Deep, nearly spiritual grooves mix easily with a nose for the dancefloor. You have to listen to fully understand. 

C4C stand as warriors in an ever-changing scene. Their importance has never been more apparent than now, as they reaffirm their passion and integrity with new music and increased touring activity. They represent something pure, something unsullied in their approach to music making, with each member adding their own style to compliment the others’. 

2019 is seeing renewed activity right across the C4C spectrum. With a whole host of upcoming releases from themselves as well as brand-new material from respected artists In the scene, they continue to shape the drum & bass world with regular live and radio appearances. 
Cause4Concern continue to be one of the most exciting names in drum & bass.
