Pan-Pot are back, this time with the Cells EP on their newly formed label, Second State. The new label sees Pan-Pot taking full creative control as they move into the second phase of their career, and both Cells and Third Eye are keen indicators that the pair are starting a new chapter of their sonic journey.

Third Eye was born out of Pan-Pot’s urge to create a track with a driving, hypnotic bassline. As a result, Third Eye makes its way into your head as listeners instantly get hooked on the bassline, but it’s not until the arp changes that things really start getting weird and fun.

Solid Steel (18th July)  Logos is our guest in Hour 1 this week treating us to music from Oneohtrix Point Never, PiL, Plasticman and some upcoming releases. This is what he had to say:
"I really enjoyed constructing this mix for Solid Steel, which is a blend of the stuff I listen to a lot at home and some banging material you might catch me playing in the club. Look out for a couple of tracks from the forthcoming EP of weightless material on Different Circles, which is the new label me and Mumdance are launching shortly, along with a track from my forthcoming split EP with Rabit on Glacial Sound. Ammon has always been a passionate lover of all styles and genre's of music. The first instrument he picked up was the saxophone when he was 9 playing for a year. He then learned rudiments and played the drums for many years until he decided to start song writing. 

After a few sessions in the studio, Scratch Tech found his heart in Music Production and DJing. Years of mobile DJing and club events have developed his ear for production. His style is unuiqe as it brings elements of Downtempo, Hip Hop, Trance, Electro, and Dub all into one chill yet energetic vibe. Scratch Tech is an artist that knows how to keep the energy up and the dance floor moving.
