Following their forward-thinking, bass-heavy EP on Claude Von Stroke’s ‘Dirtybird' label, the pair are back with their second EP, entitled “Operation 60”, this time on London’s 'Bullet Train Records'. They have kindly given us ‘Ridonkulous' to share with you today, another infusion of tech house and swinging baselines that will literally make you want to go mental on your nearest dance floor! Today we premiere Apexape's brand new cut and we can safely say that their collaboration with house hotshot Chris Lorenzo, 'Got To Give', goes in like a speeding truck. 

It's being played at the moment by the likes of Skream, Monki and DJ EZ and with thick basslines, some damn funky drums and rolling drops it's not hard to see why.

Birmingham-based producer / DJ duo Cause & Affect, aka Chris Lorenzo and Kane, are widely acknowledged for pioneering the UK House / Bass hybrid sound. Big releases on legendary labels OWSLA, Dirtybird, Strictly Rhythm and Bromance, recent killer remixes for Grades, Shift K3y and Ten Ven & Ripley, plus a ground-breaking weekly show on Rinse FM, has seen them secure incredible, international radio and media support, making fans out of the likes of Skrillex, Claude Von Stroke, Annie Mac, Steve Aoki and Diplo along the way.

On "Another Time", Cause & Affect team up with Rinse Records vocalist Jamie George (known for his work with Zinc, Toddla T and Roska) - marrying a ridiculously catchy, topline melody with their monstrous, burrowing basslines.
