For our 7th C.O.E Cast we have invited a highly talented, young artist from Argentina on to our show. Tomas Kunkel has gained great attention throughout the last year on an international basis. Born in 1995, Tomas Kunkel began his relationship with music from an early age, attracted by sounds from the 80s, Punk, and New Wave / Synth Pop Argentine and @Kraftwerk.
He met techno thanks to great influences such as @MarcelDettmann, @JamesRuskin, Planetary Assault Systems and Jeff Mills, among others.
With only 12 years, he began his first steps in production, a factor that would boost his career over the years.

Kunkel currently has released on digital labels like Armed, Holliday addicts (Argentina), Ata Series (Chile) and Off White (Italy); And his tracks have been played in various clubs around the world by artists such as @Dimi Angelis, @PatrikSkoog, @StainslavTolkachev, @MarkusSuckut, @AnswerCodeRequest, @LaurientGarnier and Ben Gibson; among others.
He has recently released his first track on vinyl, titled "Altered Chants" in a VA for the @Dyad label (England) along with @Rommek, @STK and @VSK.
He continues to improve his style, mostly linked to the old school and working for his second vinyl release, for the label @GKNSTR (Germany), and several new projects. 

Further, Tomas will be on his first Europe Tour by the end of 2017, don’t miss him when he plays in your city!

C.O.E Cast #7 - Tomas Kunkel

We are honoured to have him with us. The King of Booty Music firing up our 1 Year Anniversary C.O.E Cast #8! Mr. DJ Assault aka Craig Diamonds, Detroit USA.

Craig Adams (real name) has had a large hand in bringing ghetto-tech, aka booty music, from the urban streets of Detroit to the suburban club circuit. The incorporation of electro beats with hardcore, sometimes pornographic lyrics, is what makes ghetto-tech highly distinguishable from its other techno cousins. 

At the tender age of 12, he began his DJ career spinning at local parties and events in his hometown of Detroit. He took a three-year hiatus to study at the Univerity of Atlanta, but soon moved back to Michigan to start producing music in his own studio. Adams finished his studio by adding a local producer Mr. De. During the summer of 1996, Assault released the first Straight Up Detroit Sh*t. More popularity would follow the production team with the ghetto-tech anthems "Ass and Titties" and "Sex on the Beach." After only a year of being in business, Adams and De were able to say that they had sold more records than any other techno artist in the region at that time.

Unfortunately, Adams and Mainor dissolved their partnership in mid-2000, due to private reasons, and went their separate ways. Adams immediately started his own label, Jefferson Ave., named for a major street in Detroit that runs from the east to the west side. Adams released an album of the same name in 2001 with local label Intuit-Solar.

C.O.E Anniversary Cast #8 - DJ Assault

For the 9th installment of our podcast series we invited our newest Cause Of Effect resident Fleck aka. Dave the fleck son/master aka. @TheStain. 

Fleck started to DJ years ago and developed a huge passion for vinyl. 
Representing the streets of Babelsberg, Potsdam he is a part of the infamous event series called „Housebesetzung“ which is promoting young, talented artists. and regulary happens at Spartacus, Potsdam. Never being distracted by bullshit Fleck is always into new and creative projects to spread his love for music. 

His style in DJ sets ranges from banging, detroit-informed house cuts to Soul, Funk and Dub inspired Techno. According to that his performances are amazingly powerful in diversion.

We’re happy to have his familiar face with us and hope you enjoy his colorful mix.

Cause Of Effect was initially established to portray the origin and significance of electronic dance music in todays society. This project is designed to radiate a freshly spirited meaning of authenticity & originality to the viewers and listeners. Furthermore C.O.E will aim to embrace a broad range of exclusive & unique sound by presenting an high grade, art based, variable selection of infuential artists.
