After holding off on releasing any personal music for what seems like forever (3 years???) Here is the first introduction into my new era. This project and my next album are representations of the growth, journey and exchange that all of this art and music has pulled me through. The themes within represent the challenges and lessons I’ve gleaned along the way.

I've spent a great deal of time studying and honing myself and my craft. After my last solo release (Maintaining) I found myself in a place where the catharsis I had made the project for had lost its potency. So I began to work on new music with the intent of making tracks that made me feel wholly good.

When I asked myself why I was dealing with certain struggles in my life, I realized that in so many ways, I wasn’t being true to myself. Upon that realization, I put that energy right back where it should’ve been in the first place. Then, as I zoomed out on the whole thing, I realized that the music I started making in the first place was Dance music. Noticing that I had been on that path all along, it was easy to fall back into the groove of things, and these tracks are a reflection of that.   I hope that in reading this, looking at the cover art, and listening to the music you can get a small slice of what I’ve got going on in my head. I hope to make things much clearer with my next album, and I hope that in some way this art helps you understand that you’ve got it within you and your powers are infinite.
