We sit down with Sheafer and Jared from Santa Rosa, California stoner doom band Deer Lord and talk about their new album Dark Matter Pt. 1. We also discuss how individual music scenes develop by country, the role of the internet in sharing music and the Northern Californian music scene. We throw out some ideas to help combat homelessness, discuss crowdfunding as a way to afford vinyl runs and go way too far down the food rabbit hole talking about In-N-Out, bánh mì, meal substitutions and the over saturation of the craft beer market.
