Hey everyone! I´m back with a new single, this one is slightly different than my previous ones, but I hope you'll love it! :)

The new single 'Let You Go' takes my music in a beautiful new direction with more acoustic and folk elements. The song came to life after moving to a new country, and talks about expectations, miscommunication, and disappointment that forces you to let something go and start over from scratch.

Nothing Wrong

Mona was hauled out from between the sofa cushions of our demos folder, an old favourite that took us a long time to bring ourselves to finish and release, for fear of it being gone. 

Mona is the self-perpetuating narrative that runs through ones mind as you see what you desire at a distance further than can be reached. This track has been strained and filtered through our collective struggles of the past few years and is ultimately a reflection of who we were before through the lens of who we are now.

While the process of writing and recording the record took almost two years, Cavern Company settled on a name for the album in a single night. For the band, any other name seemed almost irresponsible. Tension encompasses both the creative milieu in which the members wrote and the scaffold by which the themes, both musically and ideally, take shape. From stories of new immigrants and battered marriages, to odd time signatures and the seemingly odd musical pairings of jazz, hip-hop and rock, this album was created to uphold the ideals of hope in the face of tragedy and innovation in the face of complacency. For those listeners ready for a new level of musical craftsmanship and lyrically honesty, this record is for you.
