Italobros bring their fresh take on house music to a new single on Moon Harbour this summer. The brilliant 'Rio' brings the sort of summery heat that all dance floors crave at this time of year. An anthemic Spanish vocal unfolds in wild and freeform fashion over the prickly tech house drums and potent bass adds weight. Norway has a long history of producing fantastic electronic music artists. From Royksopp and the dearly departed Erot in the '90s through Lindstrøm and Todd Terje in the '00s to Finnebassen and Fehrplay in the '10s. With BRETSN, we may have discovered the next northern light to join that illustrious list. Considering "Limbo", his debut release for GU, is only his third overall, it is a stunning effort. Joined by Norway-based (but Ukranian-born) vocalist Astelle, BRETSN creates the kind of irresistible, elastic tech house that usually takes producers years to master. Cavo Paradiso Records welcomes Junior Pappa who serves up two dynamic tech house tracks on this summer-ready new EP.

Junior Pappa hails out of Thessaloniki, Greece and is a key player in the scene as a DJ, producer, event producer and celebrated resident. He has been at the forefront for almost 25 years now and brings great new ideas and innovative sounds to his tracks.

Tukudu is a brilliant mix of driving drums and raw, textured synths but with a nice loose groove that makes you want to move. The chopped up vocals add some fun to really make the club go off. Kotta is another smartly arranged track, this time with a warped vocal and scattering of percussion that brings the heat to potent house kicks.

These two tracks are both effective dancefloor weapons.
