The most personal song of the EP which is why I chose it as the title track. It's written from the perspective of someone close to me who put up with bad behaviour for longer than they should've.

History

I spent a lot of time during lockdown walking around my hometown in North London, listening to Laura Marling who inspired the sound of this particular song. Through the lyrics, I reminisce over the early stages of a relationship.

You Found Me

"Run From Your Love" tells the story of a relationshp on the rocks. The storyteller is insecure about their lover's feelings and questions whether they should continue fighting for affection, or walk out the door. 

The track was produced by Tim Prottey-Jones who has also produced music for the likes of Megan McKenna. 

There's something quite nostalgic about the track, particularly in the rhythm section where it almost harks back to elements of Fleetwood Mac, then in moments there are flashes of 90's guitar driven music like REM.
