Txoria Txori ("The bird bird") is a widely known Basque song. In 1968 Mikel Laboa turned Joxean Artze's poem "Txoria Txori" (1957) into a song. It is not only about Basque people's resistance against Franco's oppression of Euskera (Basque language) and Basque culture, but also about love and a very powerful and emotive hymn to freedom.

Released for the first time in July 1952, "Jambalaya (On the Bayou)" is a well-known song written and recorded by American Country music singer Hank Williams. Named after a Louisiana Creole and Cajun dish of French and Spanish influence, it has been covered by numerous artists of several music genres. The melody it is often said to be based on the Cajun song "Grand Texas".
