My first single “Seasons of My Life” speaks to finding our way in the mystery of life. Finding safe and true forms of community that make the journey lighter. Finding strength in authenticity. Embracing grief. Not losing hope.

I didn’t know that lyrics that came to me in 2014 could potentially ring true for so many people young and old today, after a global pandemic amidst humanitarian and environmental tragedies creating so much uncertainty about our future and how we can truly contribute to this world. 

This song envisions the healthy forms of community we are creating- outside of codependency, toxicity and all forms of belittling. True allyship. It’s a deep honor to be on this journey with you, because I know that we need each other, and we’re so powerful when we unite. 

I’m so grateful to A Different Thread for helping me bring out the psychedelic Southern folk sound I hear in my head. More to come.
