Slow, deep and steady. This live set turned out like that. Exploring the 100 bpm mark on this live set was lots of fun! An improvised live set with my machines, surrounded by friends and trees, figuring out new ideas on the go and experimenting with sound and rhythms in this environment was magical. Can’t be happier about it! What a beautiful gathering. Long live Perpen!

Both artists have been fans of Marco for many years, making it a true honour to play together at this event. Even though their musical backgrounds and preferred formats differ, their shared love for deeper sounds and their strong personal bond came together seamlessly in this mix.

Røpe was born in Barcelona in 1990 and lived in Amsterdam from 2015 to 2020. After regularly playing at Direct Drive’s events, he got his first residency in 2019 at Generator. Since returning to Barcelona, he has performed at events organised by labels such as Mostra, NODE, OUT Recs, Sub Radio or LAUT. He is the co-founder of TILECT.art, a cultural association and music collective based in Barcelona. His music selection leans towards deep, atmospheric soundscapes, often shifting from dense, introspective textures to brighter, uplifting melodies, always infused with a sense of elegance and a classic touch. He is a vinyl lover and prefers playing records the old way.

DJ Berru is a Barcelona-based DJ and event organiser with deep roots in the city’s underground scene. Founder of the Estratechno collective and the Escapepodcast series, he’s been shaping alternative dancefloors since 2012.

His DJ sets delve into dark, hypnotic techno with strong Detroit influences, while his alias The Option B explores acid, electro, jungle and synth-pop pearls. He’s played at clubs like LAUT, Razzmatazz or BeCool and at festivals like Festival’Era or TechnoTrippin’. He also co-curates Club Aura - one of Barcelona’s last underground gems, dedicated to deep, cinematic electronic music and video art.

We are honored to have Czech DJ Marie Pradva join our mix series. Marie tells us: This mix was recorded at an event in Ankali club, in coldancefloor with my favorite crew from the Seismic label. I had the pleasure of playing at their festival this summer, but unfortunately, my set was cut short by the police — and to make matters worse, the recording was lost.

With this set, I finally had the chance to make up for it. It takes listeners on a proper journey: starting with deep ambient sounds to set the mood of the night, gradually building energy as the dancefloor fills, and eventually diving into the heavy 140 BPM swamp.

After each deep listening session at Temple, it’s always important to release the body, let the accumulated energy flow, and put the inspiration received into practice. That’s why we hold this session called Baptistery, an after-hours experience focused on verticality and danceable rhythms, but always from a very personal and artistic perspective of each guest artist. This booth has hosted members of Espacio Perpendicular and close friends, including: 037, Doozer, F-on, Finders Frpinkl, Josephine's Soundscapes, Jahmaik, Luis de Lema, Muted, Pillen and Serious Cut.

Elias. returns to Ranges with a full-length 13-track statement. While his earlier 12″ mapped aquatic swells, fast-paced chord pressure, and dusky atmospheres, this long-form set threads those signatures into a cinematic, Chain Reaction inspired narrative. Slow-bloom openers, peak-time pulses, and noir-tinted comedowns, etched in tape grain and negative space.

ABSIS is Salva Coromina, a regular DJ on the Barcelona scene since the late 90s under the alias mouseDown/MouseUp. He was a resident DJ at The Loft(Razzmatazz) and a regular at Sonar for many years. He has always been exploring the deeper side of electronic music, moving from ambient to techno. ABSIS currently runs his residency at Laut club in Barcelona with the Midline parties... he is also a resident at the MOSTRA festival in Barcelona and his productions are published on labels such as hivern discs, Affin and Oslated among others and is part of the label Grabaciones Perpendiculares. He also uses other aliases in collaboration with other artists under the name Atàvic with Estrato Aurora, Absira with Marco Ragni or Sonic Wave Collective with Spear and Cyklos
