On a personal note I would like to add that I really believe that this music represents some of the best of the best, the cream of the crop, of today's Progressive Psychedelic Trance. For me it is especially nostalgic in a lot of cases to hear sounds that remind me of music that got me into Trance and electronic music to begin with. I am happy to see these characteristics coming back in a new way in today's music. I want to send my deepest thanks to all of the producers who created these tracks. I’m pleased to give you Episode 8 of the Lowering The Tone Podcast, as always expect a broad mix of electronic music & chat.


This time round I had the pleasure of talking with Steve Young AKA Hedflux about his journey into music & the up’s and downs of life in general, it's a long conversation which I decided not to edit down Iv'e just extended the show to fit it all in! 
Steve is an interesting and intelligent character that I am sure you will warm to.

I try hard to make these shows honest & representative of my personality and my tastes, I hope by now that is coming through in each show & I genuinely love doing this, but I’m not the greatest at online promotion, in fact I become a bit self conscious about ‘over doing it’ (no one wants to be accused of Spamming), so if you can lend a hand by sharing the link via your social media platforms it would be a massive boost to the awareness…. and I won’t have to look like a dick that just talks about the same thing all the time ;-)

A multi-faceted metalworker with a moonlight appetite for psychedelic art, music, and culture; Artemis’ handiwork can be seen behind many of @Fractaltribe projection mapped stages and art installations.  @Artemis is doubtlessly a multi-talented member of the Fractaltribe team (also representing Goa based, Annuna Records) whose creativity shines through her additional contributions as a deco artist, fire breather, juice genius. Most notably, her DJing is a multi-genre mastery, influenced by years of classical violin and voice training. 

In her own words, Fractaltribe gatherings are “a chance to make amazing art in both space and time… [and a place] to work with people who are amazing at their crafts to… make a difference in someone’s life, night, and to let go, have fun, and join in a group-moving meditation practice, to celebrate life” be it preparatory event work, or stomping around on the dance floor the day of.
