Lamb of God—our dear Redeeming One is Christ!
For our sins He paid the highest price
To redeem and to recover us
Who were lost and fallen far from God.
As the Lamb, He had no blemish;

How can we like Him obedient be

All our days, never to fall away.
By Your grace, keep us pursuing You,
Taking up the cross to follow You.
Consecrate we unreservedly,
Absolute for You entirely.

Lord Keep My Heart

First of two short piano pieces I wrote this summer to practice composition. Tried for a consistent form to some part of the melody and/or accompaniment. How did I do? Does this sound like something fun to practice piano technique with?

Mood Etude #1 (Reflecting on the Day) - Robin Roon Skaiver

As the ethereal notes of Johann Sebastian Bach's timeless masterpiece ‘Air on the G String’ (1717-1723, from his Orchestral Suite No. 3) dance on the wind, my falsetto weaves a spell of sorrow and longing. With every delicate phrase, I channel the anguish of a heart shattered, yet somehow, in the beauty of Bach’s music, I find a glimmer of hope. May the haunting harmonies and soaring melodies transport you to a realm where music is the only solace. 

As a one-man band, I create an orchestral experience by playing all instruments, and with my angelic falsetto, I cry out in sorrow and longing, speaking directly to your soul.
