In 2001, Zimbabwe born Adam Metcalfe moved to Cape Town & fell in love with Psy Trance. This passionate affair has seen him become one of South Africa’s top electronic exports, headlining festivals all over the globe. His 2008 album ‘Artelligent’ (Nano Records) has been labeled a trance classic! 2016 sees Adam blending progressive and fullon in true Headroom style, while continuing his quest for sonic excellence, originality and a highly awaited follow up album.

Our multicolored hero Ozzy Cetin a.k.a. MYSTICISM presents his chill journey.

Ozzy Cetin aka Mysticism, Ramizes & Freetech was born in 1984 in Istanbul and discovered psy-trance at the age of 18 over the albums of Kox Box, Cosmosis, Hallucinogen, Goa Gil, Astral Projection etc. Since then he has been gathering a psy-trance archive which still continues. In the city he studied his BA, Ozzy organized various indoor psy trance parties and mixed tracks as Ramizes between 2004 – 2007. Meanwhile, he helped out his producer friends by giving them ideas and loops for their new tracks.
Since 2006 Ozzy has also been involved in some of the most well respected festivals and psy organisations around the planet such as Soulclipse, Ozora, Psy-Fi, Sonica, Earthcore, Tree of Life, Free Earth, Neon, Psy-Boutique, Mind Manifest Project and many more. He now dedicates himself to his psy-trance organizations community, Crystal Kids, to spread the word through the minds which are ready to unite with respect, peace & love ♥.

In this next On The Way edition we’re talking with two pillars of Aphid Records, Aphid Moon and Psibindi, followed by their mixes to get you pumped for their Ozorian sets this summer.

Aphid Moon is the project of psy-trance maestro Jules Hamer. The artist is also founder of experimental London based U.K. psy label Aphid Records.
He released four critically acclaimed psy-trance albums.
His debut album on pioneering U.K. label Dragonfly Records in 2003 and two more following on major psy label Nano. In 2010 he released ‘Super Collider’ on his own label ‘Aphid Records’, sealing his reputation as a cutting edge producer, with an original, evolving, deep, psychedelic sound.
These days his digital EP’s, mixed and mastered in house on Aphid Records, feature regularly in the top ten of the Beatport Psy Trance charts. His intense performance, a mixed improvisation, continues to evolve from his underground roots and provides a high level of production and creative ingenuity to stimulate both mind and body.
He is currently putting the finishing touches to his forthcoming album on Aphid Records.

Thibaut L, was born in 1983 and grew up in Paris, France. His musical career began at the age of 5 when he decided learn piano at a Parisian music school.
At a young age Thibaut had an open ear to several genres of music such as metal, indus, ebm, rock, jungle etc… While traveling to koh phangan Thailand, at a beach party he made his first encounter with psychedelic trance. This was the sound that Thibaut had been searching for all his human existence. At this moment in time “Plasmotek” project was born, and was anxious to get back to France to build the studio to begin composing his own creations and sounds.

Thibaut began djing in Paris’s local underground trance parties. In 2005 he released his first track on Mandala Rec and shortly after Plasmotek live was ready to rock international dance floors. Today, with his refreshing album (lifted) released on mandala records and numerous tracks on multiple labels (24/7 records, timecode records…) plasmotek has established himself an upcoming, unique and fresh live act from France. His sound is described as deep mechanical full-on trance, balanced between techno and trance.

YAR ZAA is a solo project of Spain based Producer Jose Luis Yarza. He made this mix exclusively for radiOzora.

José has been developing his unique style over the last few years and has built a great reputation around the world with his psychedelic project.
He got involved into the local scene of Psytrance in 2005. In the beginning playing dj sets and with great success in different places of the country. Two years later, in 2007, he decided to create his own project, “Yar Zaa”, and began to promote himself in different scenes in Europe.
His Debut Album Lights & Shadows, released in 2013 by PHANTASM RECORDS, was a total success hitting the top on various international charts around the globe. And has released a few tracks and ep´s in labels like OVNIMOON, ANTU, WOMB, PROFOUND, MAHARETTA and many more…

Yar Zaa has played in the most important events of his country (Spain) and also in the main events in Goa (HILL TOP Festival, UV Bar, Hippies, Goa-freaks party…) and Thailand (Black moon Party, Ban Sabaii…), and now he is playing all around the globe in events like TIMELESS festival (Canada), RITUAL Festival (México), FREQS of NATURE (Germany), FREE EARTH (Greece), TREE of LIFE (Turkey), SUMMER NEVER ENDS (Switzerland), HUMAN EVOLUTION (Italy) getting more and more succes…

Two hours of mind altering Psytrance. Slightly twisted but fully loaded. Containing some of my favourite tracks of the past season, some gems from BMSS Records, a handful of unreleased blasters and of course some wtf surprises. 

Psyence Fiction reflects my night-time approach towards Psychedelic Trance, driven by energy, rolling basslines, intense soundscapes and occasional references to the past. This is my take on the slightly darker side of Trance. Psyence Fiction tells a coherent story and gives you a psychedelic experience that ends in a rather groovy positive mood. 

My thanx go out to all participating artists for their master pieces and to all the labels involved for releasing such amazing tracks! And you guys, enjoy this psy-transcendental flight and have a smooth landing...I hope you have a blast! :) x

ELOWINZ by Diogo Gouvea presents Parvati Records‘ next show on radiOzora.

Elowinz was created by Diogo Gouvea and Tomas Vezzali in 2012. From 2015 onwards Diogo handle the project alone.
His music roots are in Hard Core and Punk bands where he played and performed in the undergound scene of Sao Paulo.

Since 2005 producing psychedelic music on different projects and in 2012 the Elowinz Live Act became the focus of his productions. The detailed percussion work together with arrangements of different synthesis are gently guiding the dancers into trance.

His first EP, Sananga is being released in October 2016.

2004 he met the 24/7 Crew and connected specially with Dj Astralex and his brother Riff Ruff, from thatmoment on he was very fount of this new style and excited about the driving basselines. 2 Years later he began to focus more on Psytrance rather then Techno.

AnnesZia is artist name for Anastasia Kasimova, an electronic music enthusiast and natural born dj from St. Petersburg Russia who has found her way behind the decks at the tender age of 14 playing mostly underground techno and breaks music. Not long time when her first Sets hit the “motherland” clubs for Russian electronic music scene such as “Tunnel”, “ Griboedov”. Quite soon her immaculate Dj skills put her on tour to other destinations within the biggest country of the world. Since 2010 AnnesZia discovered colorful world of psychedelic scene and decided to get into it asap. She choose to play psychedelic sound with original goa touch as well as psy chill music. She pay a lot of attention not only to musical side of her performances but also to her appearance on stage and her image of Indian beauty certainly helped her to get many followers among Russian fans of this style.As the result she got booked to nearly every major Festival event in Russia and some of her own productions have been featured on compilations for such labels as Kiss the Sound and Forestdelic and she grabbed attention as promising artist also. In 2013 her djing style gradually shifted towards Psychedelic Goa Trance and the concepts of her sets can be described as psychedelic trancedance shamanism, and she become getting known not only in Russia but abroad as well. Nowdays she is one of the most book female djs in Russia who performs regularly at all major events in Russia such as Solar Systo(Spb), Trimurti(Msk), BK(Msk), Solaris(Kazan), Chill Out Planet(Msk), Wonderland Experience(Spb), Abstraction(Spb), Семинар Альтуризма (Msk) as well he residencies in motherland of psychedelic trance scene GOA in such places as Russian Хmas Fest(Goa), Dream Beach(Goa), HillTop(Goa), Curlie’s(Goa) with appearances on European events Wicked Fоrest(Serbia), Solstitium (Estonia).
