This episode will raise your awareness and understanding of the role that Indigenous knowledge plays in conservation efforts in Western culture today - by having paternal or familiar care and concern for a place, naturally you’ll want to preserve it the way it has been for generations. Professor Kamelamela and sustainability PhD student Luke Ramsey will discuss different ways of building knowledge of these systems and connection to them for the future. Luke will share his ways to work art into his research to reconnect with the environment: he is making paper from the most common plants in his research sites and using this paper to visualize his data.
